Coming Soon: Space Race Scoreboard

Who's keeping score? I am! Well, lots of other people have, I've just combined the data into a dashboard that brings out some good old fashioned rivalry by splitting by country/region. This summary report is packed (overly) full of information... and last updated roughly mid 2021, but it's so pretty and useful! As this one gets migrated to the new site, it's likely to be broken into several smaller reports to help with accessibility, especially on smaller screens.

Coming Soon: Lunar Landers

Ever wanted to land on the moon? You'd need a lunar lander to do it. Here's a look at which ones you'd find on the market today or soon.




The last column, CLPS, refers to the commercial lunar payload service. Basically, it's a program where NASA pays private companies to land stuff on the moon for them. That's the main way I was able to put this list together, and in the final column I've listed the CLPS mission number for the few landers that have already been chosen and assigned. Last I checked, none of them have been launched yet. More info on that would be on the Artemis page, which is one of our next posts. Stay tuned!
